Sven R. Aragon

Sven Ralph Aragon, age 53, passed away with family at his side in his home on August 6th at 4:32 pm, in Spanaway, WA after his courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 24,1965 in Bietigheim, Germany to his parents Rafael Aragon and Marika (Erlemann) Aragon. He spent his youth traveling throughout the US and Europe as his father was a member of the military. Sven graduated from General H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany. After graduation, his family moved to and settled in Spanaway, WA. From here, Sven went to trade school at Clover Park Vocational-Technical Institution for Automotive and later devoted almost 21 years to Goodyear Commercial.

Throughout the years after moving to Spanaway, Sven became a father to 4 children (Demitra, Chelsey, Brenden and Kylie) and a step father to 2 other children (Brittany and Kevin). His first born, Demitra, gained her wings way too early in life. He became a grandfather to Kateri, Wyatt, Dominique, Drayvion and Daven.

Sven loved his kids and lit up anytime his grandkids were around. Marlon, was not just his brother, but his neighbor and friend, and preceded him in death about 26 months ago. It was an adjustment to life after Marlon’s sudden passing.

Almost 2 years ago, Sven was introduced to his wife Misty. He didn't have to go far to find the love of his life and the person that brought so much happiness and joy to him, as they were neighbors. With the devotion and love they had for each other, even during the difficult time of being diagnosed with cancer, they decided to get married on June 2, 2018.

Sven is survived by his wife Misty; his 3 children Chelsey, Brenden and Kylie; 2 step children Brittany and Kevin; 2 grandchildren Kateri and Wyatt; 3 step grandchildren Dominique, Drayvion and Daven; parents Rafael and Marika; siblings Andrea and Blake and sister-in-law Kison; niece and nephews Jesse, Niko, Myko, Grant, Brianna and Blake; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by many friends, neighbors, co-workers, Warriors and family.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 18th, 10 a.m. at Fir Lane Memorial Park, 924 176th St E, Spanaway WA 98387. Following a small graveside service with immediate family (Wife, parents and children).

The celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakewood Elks Lodge 6313 75th St W, Lakewood, WA 98499
